I recently discovered quite a bit of fluid in the engine pan. It appears to be mostly water but some anti-freeze (a greenish tint). I checked for an active leak with the engine not running and when it was idling (not hot) and didn't see anything. There are indications of a leak out of what looks like a radiator valve spliced in a 5/8 inch hose that comes off the engine and runs forward in the boat. I believe that is the engine/water heater hose. The valve looks corroded, there are water marks on the top of the alternator, and the motor mount under it is slightly rusted. I'm guessing this hose would only get fluid pressure after the thermostat opens, hot engine. Then the leak would start. I haven't checked when the engine is hot. Does this make sense or should I be looking elsewhere for the problem? Is this a standard fitting and where would I get a replacement?Thank-you for your help.Skip LoofboroS/V Hope Four
