When considering a new cooker for 'Alkira' recently, (and like you not wanting gas), I came to the conclusion that the Taylor's IDEAL K made by Blakes was a good all round buy. It uses kerosene as fuel but is far from cheap although manufactured to a very high standard. It appears to also be supplied totally complete, (pan clamps, gimbals, installation kit and tank, etc.)
I think with this type of cooker you have to expect actually lighting the thing to be a bit of a drag. Once lit however the burner efficiency is quite with each rated at 2kw maximum.
After the good press that the Origo is getting however, I might just change my mind !!
