Hi everyone. Another inquiry. On my 78hunter27 my throttle and trans control are on the bottom and not the best place for docking. I've noticed that some controls are on the binnacle. Is there a convertion kit I can buy to add them to my binnacle? Thanks again everyone. Michel

Would recommend that the new control be a single lever control that engages both the shift and throttle. By using a single lever control the throttle will always be down before shifting forward or reverse. Most if not all new boat controls are single lever.

If the pedestal is an "Edson" brand, parts for conversion are likely to be available. If it a "Merriman" brand, then no conversion parts are available.
