Continuous Running

Since taking delivery of our 461 the compressor has run continuously. We had a technician check the unit and he says everything is fine it's just that Beneteau ignored the advice of Mr. Adler and put in a compressor which is overmatched for the freezer/overflow refrig. combo. The boxes get cold enough to freeze water but I want to at least approach the 12 hour out of 24 running time ie. 72 amp hours/day.Is there a solution??

The boxes my be underinsulated in spots. Also, check the door and hatch seals for a tight fit. You should not be able to pull a dollar bill through them without resistance. Make sure the drain is plugged. If the refrigerator is getting cold enough to freeze water, the tstat is up too high. It should be set around number two and slowly increased if that is too warm.

make sure that the condensor ciol is clean.fan motor is rotaiting in correct direction.if there is a light,be sure it goes off when door is closed
