I currently own a Hunter 34 in Lake Michigan/Chicago area, and am thinking about moving up to a Hunter 45. Looking for info in several areas. How does the H45 stack up, (pros & cons for different years, what to look for as in concerns, etc). Also, this boat would be used in the Carolinas & wintered south through the Keys, Bahamas, Caribean, etc. Is a shoal draft still to deep for these areas & if so should I just go with a deep keel or look for a smaller/another manufacturer to satisfy the draft problem? Also have some concern about the calculated static stability & degrees of heel. If anyone has a set of Polars I would like to discuss this information.
