Considering Sheboygan or Manitowoc WI seasonal slips

Looking for opinions on the sailing around Sheboygan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin. I have a Siren 17 I keep on a mooring buoy in Door Co, WI (Green Bay side). I love it there but the 4-plus hour drive to and from is getting to be a drag. I'm thinking of doing a seasonal slip in Manitowoc or Sheboygan instead. They're about 2 hours closer and are similarly priced, considering cost of gas. I would still spend a week or 10 days in Door each season anyway since my girl is easily trailerable, so I would still get my Door Co fix. thanks!

It has been almost 20 years since I was at either port, but having visited both towns numerous times, I liked them both. The harbors were well protected. I did enjoy the Sheboygan YC and that may or may not be a consideration for you. Otherwise select the one that is closest to you.
