Connect bose DVD player

I own a 2005 hunter 41ac with a Bose 3-2-1 series II
When I hook it up I got a region code mistake. Got that to work, but now DVDs play in black and white

Any ideas?

1) How are you hooking it up to the TV and 2) are you sure you have the output set correctly (PAL vs NTSC)..

check your video cable this happens when its not connected all the way or its bad ( svideo/ component / hdmi)
