WOW... A former Hunter Dealer, still sticks in there helping Hunter owners with their boat problem long after he retired.

It is not easy answering 10,000 messages of "I am a new owner. What do I do with this thingy on my boat?"

Crazy Dave is one of the good ones. He goes above and beyond even offering to send Personal Message assistance when a new owner has a stickler of a problem.

There are some that don't know what to do with their "thingy" regardless of where they are or who they are with, I think.

Haven’t heard thing ma jig or thing ma bob in a long time. I recall using terms like that as a newbie. You should have seen me fretting when I drilled my first hole in a hull sixty years ago.

I remember well my first hole experience. It was for the exhaust of my diesel heater. It doesn’t get any easier. I am still concerned/cautious.
Will I hit something I shouldn’t.

I flew in the Navy way back when. My father was the test pilot for Army and Navy helicopters. Gus Grissom was my dad’s best friend. Grew up around the Mercury 7 astronauts to include Werner and Niel A.

@Crazy Dave Condon is the mostest specialist sailor I’ve ever met. And one of the bestest friends I’ve ever had. We don’t talk very often nowadays but he did call me recently. It was a great conversation.
