Well I finally got a chance to take a closer look at the waste holding tank config on my new c30, it confuses me even more. I tried the best i could to check it out and stay out of the surveyors way, but there is a waste tank under the v-berth and as far as I can tell a manual overboard discharge, there is no deck fitting pump out. This makes little sense to me, basically there is a y-valve that will either go direct overboard or to the holding tank, then from the tank you can manually pump overboard. Seems like a crappy setup to me and now that i have had a few to think about it i am wondering if there is two thru hulls or one for discharge, you would think there would have to be two, which means i will need to install another y-valve to go to the deck pumpout, or manual pump out. Figure i will put a macerator in instead of the hand pump. Anyone familiar with this type of setup? It can't possibly be factory.
