We've recently taken possession of our Hunter 410 and have been out for about 4 weekends over the past few months. We have noticed that a substantial amount of condensation develops along the side of the pullman berth mattress that rests against the hull. Any cures for this? Thanks in advance.

same problem

We get the same condensation in our 410. When we have guests in the forward cabin we ask them to crack the hatch at night even if the heater is on. That seems to do the trick. The worst condensation happens when people crank up the heat until it gets to hot and then unplug it in the middle of the night. In those cases the pulman matress will be absolutely soggy the next morning.

There were some good responses to a similar condensation problem about six-nine months ago. I'm going to try drilling small holes in the wood under the cushions and installing a teak louvre vent.
