I will be installing my new cold machine next weekend and plan on putting the compressor in the aft end of the port cockpit locker. My reasons for installing it there are as follows. 1. This space isn’t used for anything right now. 2. It is unlikely to get hit by anything. 3. It can easily have a vent installed in the cockpit wall right next to it. To mount it there I will need to mount it to the side of the cockpit. Can the compressor be mounted to a vertical surface? Has anyone used this location? Thanks for the help.
