The counter weight in our compression post is frozen in place and I can't raise or lower it. i have had the post out of the boat and with a sledge hammer and long steel rod was unable to dislodge the weight. (I could only work from the top of the post because there appears to be some kind of foam material in the bottom.) Has anyone had a similar problem and been able to resolve it? Bud Cook
