I just purchased my boat and the compass is missing. Any advice on where to get a replacement?

The fn-201 is the Richie Navigator series that I told you about in the other post you made on this subject. It will fit. It is mounted with screws. You may have to drill new tap drill holes. Would take all of 45 seconds. I assume your light wiring is still there. Just attach with some waterproof/heat shrink butt connectors. Always check Ebay first. I bought a used one for $30. I also bought the form fitted cover for it.

Good point. I don't know if the new fn-201 comes with a gasket but if not, Bed-it tape is the way to go.

You know, there may be a gasket...I haven't even taken the compass out of the box yet. I'll check tonight after work. Installation of the compass occurs next weekend. Been too busy hull cleaning and VC17-ing the last couple of weekends. The butyl tape was slated more so for the four portlights I'm replacing, but though it's good to have for the compass as well if needed.

I would tend to just use the gasket if it has one. That way you can remove the compass for any reason without the gooey mess.

Yep, There was a gasket, three SS screws, and a small brass adjustment tool in the package. If the pedestal top is nice and planar I'll just use the gasket as suggested. All components shown below. The protective cover is a separate option, Ritchie Navigator SS-2000.
