Any experience out there with custom made liner tanks to fit compartments under berths? My 85 Pearson 34 has two Nauta 25 gallon flexible tanks. One needs replacement anyway so I have been wondering about have custom sized tanks made. There's a few folks out there, a couple in G Britain, that say they do it. New World Mfg in CA will make them for $4-500 each pending seeing the templates. Same space that holds one of the 25 gal Nauta's would hold ~64 gallons w/a custom. They're talking about using 30 mil PVC with electro-welded seams. Most of the strength comes from the compartment, so the tank should be oversized if anything. Also needs to be smooth inside compartment, or lined.
