comparing morgan to catalina

Ive got alot of catalina 22's on the lake where i keep my morgan 22. comparing the two, which one would you think is the faster of the two. We are having our annual race this coming weekend and im wondering how well im going to do. All of the sailors are around the same skill level when it comes to racing. Are catalina 22 sailboats fast comparitivly

PHRF will tell

Look up the PHRF handicap for both vessels and the answer will be obvious. Most C22's have swing keels and the few with fixed keel perform much better. Good luck!

The C22

is not rated particuarly fast for a 22 (272), but a well-sailed boat can do OK.
