companionway slide & forward hatch on S2's

A member can make new CW hatch for the S2 7.9
Will the 7.9 and 8.0B interchange with each other?
Is there data showing what will fit other S2's

No, there is no interchange data. Most of the hatches on S2's were apparently hand made. Did you join the forum and email the guy?

Yes I did, he said to measure mine to see if it matches the one they make.
Hope to get to boat this weekend to measure hatch. the price was $275 plus shipping.
Sounds like a great price.

Check with Lorin Smith on this S2 owners group forum. I talked to him last year and he was set up to fabricate hatches. He is in Western Washington state.

He measured my hatches last summer. He wasn't set up at the time and he got waylayed over the winter. Not sure what his status is......

I found one!

Someone on forum was nice and sold me their extra one they had .
Now to find a forward hatch!
