any ideas were to mount the companionway hatch inside or out? i dont like it laying around while sailing. also a good place to buy a roller fuerling cover for 26x thanks ed v
www.bwyachts.com sells a furler cover for your boat for ~$160. Sail Warehouse has them for ~$190. If you are handy, have a sewing machine and want to save a few bucks, SailRite has a pattern and instructions for making one online (very simple project ~$75 including Sunbrella, needles, thread and snaps...more for zippers).
I store my hatch (26D) on the sliding hatch cover, inside the cabin. I stole this idea from a link I saw on macgregor-boats.com site... I used SS eyes, and bungy cord, instead of using starboard angles as the photos show. some store it in the head... not sure what will work on the X model... (I like the bungy as It will give me room for a screen hatch, once I build it....) good luck!
