It is probably Lexan as it is stronger. Find a plastics company near your home and bring in your broken pieces so they can use them as a pattern and I bet they will cut you out a new one. Otherwise, go to your favorite sailboat dealership with a service department and if they are any good, they will get it done for you.

I just had one made from a company called Tap Plastic. They made laid my old one down and drew it on paper then made me one of 1/2 or 3/ inch plexiglass. It turned out great and VERY STRONG. Will NEVER BREAK AGAIN, Cost me less than 100.00 and its huge. I have a Morgan OI 415 ketch. Hope this helps

Plan B ?

A clear plastic (acrylic or polycarbonate) hatch 'board' is heavy as all heck. Maybe even heavier.
Unless you need the extra light inside or dislike privacy, consider fabbing up a new one up in balsa core frp.
Fraction of the weight, and waaay easier to handle and store.

We did that many years ago, when we got tired of handling/storing four very heavy teak hatch boards.
