We used exactly what you described on my Catalina 30. The main reason we use screen doors on this boat is because they were there from the PO. I have also screens made with the top rail only. On the sides and bottom were weights sewn into the screen. The admiral likes doors. I think its a false sense of security. Anyway, If she is happy, I am happy. RAD: The admiral is still laughing about your comment. She still cant get past my accent. She is a Mississippi gal. Tony B
