anyone replaced the companionway hatch boards with a set of doors? I would like to but cant for the life of me find out where to buy them. I saw in the archives that this sight used to sell them but I cant find where. I am in the middle of a cruise to the thousand Islands so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Brad

Go to cruisingconcepts.com. Click on: EXTERIOR Companionway doors I've had two sets built by them and am really happy with the results. There is just no comaprison between the doors and the boards. If you order, make sure you give them very accurate measurements. I laid my pinboards out on butcher paper and traced the outline -- plus many other measurements. Then be prepared to do a lot of whittling, sanding and customizing to make them fit your boat exactly. Good luck and happy sailing! Jim Schaff s/v Savannah

We got them thru HunterOwners, Phil can help. They are very $$ but well worth it. High quality, beautiful workmanship and wood. I don't have a photo,and the boat is in Mexico, but they are so good looking and handier than hatch boards for sure.
