Companion way weighted cover

Hello from Texas

After spending several days on our boat recently I discovered how much I dislike removing all of the companion way boards to go up top/go below. Our neighbors have this wonderful cover that is removable and keep the A/C in and isnt a hassle.

I want one!!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

We started out with a cover like you are talking about with a zippered opening for the door - clear plastic over the top. The cover was custom made from sunbrella and plastic.

We switched to companionway doors made from starboard and they are much easier to use than the cover. You should consider both.

there are some really neat soulutions out there. I like the cloth insulated covers. they can close the opening, cover the plexaglass to keep the sun out. or what ever you want. I think theone on my boat was made by jsi in St. Pete fl.
