Companion way screen H28.5

Does anyone know of a manufacturer of screens that would go in the companion way of our '87 Hunter 28.5? I would also like to leave the boards out AND the hatch cover slid all the way back.

Check out this months Sail mag. I have the same issue, they have a cheap quick fix for the companionway screen in the things that work column.

28.5 SCREEN

Mick, I made one for my 87' 28.5. Works great and not hard to make. I took 1/4" lauan plywood, traced (4 slats) companion way cover on it and made two identical pieces. Leaving about a 2" border, cut out the inside of both pieces. Sandwich your screening between the two pieces, glue and clamp, trim screen overhang and varnish. Did the same for the forward and center hatchs using velcro to hold them on from the cabin side. Tom

HOW to get them

I beleive they are sold in the HOW chandlery on this site and also at major marine outlets.
