In regards to the new Hunter 45 Center Cockpit, has anyone had problems with the companion way hatch sliding all the way down very fast, and becoming jamed? Our boat is a 2006, and just recently when we unlock the hatch and go to open it, it just free-falls so hard and fast that it becomes jamed at the bottom, and must be pryed up in order to close. We would be interested to know if any other 45 CC owners have experienced this problem.
Thanks,
Jeff

Same problem

We also have a 2006, had the same issue. The problem was the bungy cord (used as a spring) broke. I took off the sides and the panel on the cockpit floor and replaced. It takes about 30-45 mins. Use a bungy you have on board and just cut off the ends. You will see when you take it off.
This will happen again I assure you.

Hello 45CC owners

I was noticing that on your boats you have a bench type seat in the main salon tucked under the dining table. How is that attached to the floor and how does it get moved into position for use....is it on slides or a hinge of some sort. I have the 1998 P42 and the bench seat is just in the way most of the time so I would like to make it moveable without too much hassle.

Thanks,

Brian
