Combi Prop Pitch Query

Dear Vegans,

Can anyone describe (or post a photograph of) the correct pitch (angle)
for the combi variable-pitch propeller when the throttle is fully opened
in forward?

I recently dismantled my combi (alas, only partially as I was unable to
remove the ^%(*& shaft from the aft end of the diesel engine - arghhhh -
so I'll try again in the fall)

But I neglected to take note of this critical bit of info.

Thanks, Trev V2915

Trev - Its probably easier to align the neutral than the fully open. There is a small mark or line on the prop boss and the base of one (at least one) of the prob blades that should line up when the prop is in neutral. You can use this to rig your throttle/pitch lever and prop to neutral.

Hope that helps.

Hi Trevor;

install the prop in the neutral possition! There should be a mark on the housing.
Wilhelm,
