The use of Future Floor Finish as a color/sheen restorer has received extensive coverage on the Catalina 30 list. Those who have tried this product know that the application is touchy and the results are often not what was intended or desired. Despair not. There is a better way I have found the easiest, quickest, and best way to restore the original color and sheen on fiberglass boats. The miracle product is Parker-Bailey Lemon Oil Polish. The application is obscenely easy (just wipe it on with a clean cloth)with no streaking or runs. It dries to the touch and even resists dirt. The polish can be applied directly on oxidized and weathered gelcoat without the prior use of the restorer products that we have all tried. Just wash with soap and water because any dirt will probably be sealed under the polish. Find the most derelict and abused boat in the yard and try a small section on the transom and be amazed.
