We had a cold front move through here this weekend, so I had to bundle up and put socks on.

At least we don't have to worry about air conditioning in the summer

Can't say that I'm a veteran of B.C., other than an Alaskan cruise out of Vancouver for our 25th anniversary a while back, but Florida's weather is GREAT...except those pesky lightning storms ( I lived in Orlando many a' year ago, and it MUST be the lightning capitol of the US.) ... and, oh, don't forget the occasional HURRICANE !! ;-(
I'll stay with southern New England and Long Island Sound .. for now.
Hey, Inarathree, would you be willing to sell me that cooler lid that you have your feet on? Or at least give me the measurements and some pix to see if the local fiberglass place can replicate it. Mine's been missing since day 1 of purchase, and the PO didn't know what happened to it....

I use to sail at night on Smith Mt. Lake at night during all seasons. Once in a snow storm, out of all things was a blue light special. The game warden asked what I was doing until he recognized me. I asked him likewise in a snow storm. We both agreed we were nuts but I added the snow billowing against the sails was a beautiful sight with the deck light on the mast that was on. He asked how I navigated and I told him I knew the lake too well and the lights. It seemed we were the only boats on the lake at 2:30 a.m... Since I had a thermos of coffee, I invited the two wardens over for a coffee break and suggested that they should go in since they were freezing. I made friends for life with one of those rascals.
