I have a duel cold machine installation on my p42. When eather the freezer or the frig. runs, line noise can be heard on both the VHF and FM receivers. What action would you recommend to silence the noise? A.B.
both Adler/Barbour. One is a 20 degree freezer and the other is a frig. They are installed in totally seperate boxes and are on different circuits. Both units are nine years old. A.B.
Ok, the thing to do is either wire the units directly to the battery or put noise filters in the radio lines. If there is still noise left, put a 70000mf @16v across th 12v supply on th compressor units.
