On the gimballed stove thread someone mentioned using a coffee pot clamp on their stove
Anyone have a pic and a source for one?
Thanks

Defender.com, search "pot holder". There's several there. Your stove needs the rail around it for them to work, I think most or all do have that.

CY,

My gimbaled stove has an approx. 1/2" wide metal band set about 2" up from the stove top.
My make stove has clamps that I can tighten down anywhere depending on pot diameters.
I would think that different manufactures of gimbal stoves have specific clamps.

I don't know what make you have but, check with the manuf. for these.
Here's a link showing a similar type clamp to give you an idea.

The Seaward ones in Captron's link are the ones I have. Used them on three different stoves so I think they're pretty universal. If the rail size is close, they'll work. Some of the other ones Defender sells look like they might be a little more specific.

They are mostly accessories designed by the stove manufacturers specifically for some of their models. What is the brand and model of your stove? They can be hard to find for older discontinued stoves.

My Origo is not gimbaled and I have a set of pot holders that clamp to the front rail.... Work quite well. A rod or metal strap could be easily installed if there's no obvious anchor point. Just realize that they won't keep things from sloshing out of the pot but they will keep it from sliding.

Mine are the ones for the gimbaled Origo Stove. They work well unless you are pounding upwind in seas, then they let stuff slosh. Using a teakettle and sealed pressure cooker solves that problem.

Perhaps try searching for Stove Fiddles or Pot Restraints.
