I just tried to use my cockpit shower on my 2004 Hunter 306 . the water pump and pressure to the galley and sink in the head is excellent. No luck on the cockpit shower. Is there a stop cock I am missing or some other cause please.

What make is the shower faucet? If it's a Scandvik, you have to pull the temperature control out to let water flow.

After non-use the Hot and Cold valves stick closed.

Answer: With Water pump on...
1) open the Cold All the way open.
2) Still no flow? OPEN it more... say what? Yep, try to unscrew it.

You will eventually free up the stuck sealing gasket.;)

If you have a landlubber's type vegetable sprayer head, there is also a shut off gasket there too.

Ok, I see you took off the shiny Knobs to the HOT and COLD Valves.

The Valve is that screw head.

If you are worried about unscrewing it...
1) put a tray under the Valve to catch parts...
2) unscrew it slowly and observe the stem components.
But...
You should not have to unscrew it completely. Just enough to allow Valve gasket seal to release.

How do I know this?
I had the same problem and drove me crazy until found the damn Valve stem sticking the gasket.:banghead:
______
Tip: The Knob may turn but the stuck Valve stem doesn't and it is the Valve , not the Knob that adjusts flow.

Do you have a fresh water manifold? Ours is located under the galley sink. If you have one check to see if the valve to the shower is in the "on position"
