Home Depot, Lowes or Menards carries an assortment of sizes. The replacements ones I found were white rubber rather than black, but they worked good and cost about a quarter each. Ward

I used weather strip.
Hated those bumpers. The lockers might as well be outside and open. The product I used was from WM. It came in a roll long enough to do all of my cockpit hatches. It's self adhesive too. Sorry, I'd get the link for you but I have a dial-up and WM is too slow on the web. The part number is 1955046. Taco makes it.

Mine works fine.
At the rear-center of the helmsman seat the gull-wing seats are higher than the frame. But that is 'my boat'. I'll do some realigning with a sliver of 'starboard'. As far as sitting and sealing, great.

I have just gone through the same thing with my newly acquired 1987 Hunter 31. I called Hunter at 1-800-771-5556 X3015 to order them. There are two different sizes. Mine were the larger size and cost $0.49 each. Use a credit card and you will get them in 3-4 days. They are great to work with.
