I am looking for a source for the rubber seat stoppers on my 1985 h31. They are 1" in dia and 1/2" high. My current stoppers are deteriorating. Does Hunter sell them ? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

I got mine from Hunter, but they seem to be different from what you describe. Mine are black and about the size of a nickel and about 3/8" high. They are fastened by a ss screw through the middle and recessed into the rubber. Try Hunter.

All they are is shower door stoppers... go to the plumbing department at a home depot or any plumbing supply store... take one with you... there are bunches of different sizes. Tony

Any good quality hardware store should have them. You don't need them to be exactly the same. They just need to cushion the seat when closed without holding it too high. Ward

I called Mike Thomas at Hunter (800 771 5556, xtn 3015) for one for my 91 30T. He said they were .49 apiece and would put 2 (I figure a spare is always a good thing) in the mail for me yesterday when I called. Carl

The ones at HD are a little short.
Mike: The ones that I found at Home Depot are a little short (about 3/8"). Probably better than nothing. If you go to an electronic shop you may be able to find the correct size.

Short ones are not good
for the lazerett lids. I tried the tallest ones I could find at home Depot last fall but they were not as tall as the ones used by Hunter. When I put them on the hinge side of the lazerett was only supported by the hinge instead of resting on the bumper. After repairing the screws that pulled out, I bought a set from my Tidewater, a local marina that sells enough Hunters to stock a number of these types of replacement parts.

Bumpers arrived
The bumpers I called Hunter about last week arrived today. I'm not sure about the the generic kind, but the Hunter replacements have a metal washer in the hole in the bottom of the bumper so the screw won't eventually go through the rubber. Carl
