On my 1979 C30, I have renovated the hinges on
the lazarette and the deep portside sail locker, because I
can get to the back side of the hinges.
Not so on the shallow locker on the starboard
side. It seems to be inscrutable. How were
the hinges attached to the boat? Were they
just screwed into fiberglass? There are a bunch
of holes that look like they were broken out screw
holes there. That would seem like a bad fix, but
I can't figure out what else to do.
Any ideas?
