Cockpit floor seal

Hi there.

Does anyone have any idea where, in the UK, to get a new seal for the cockpit floor hatch? The old rubber has perished and isn't keeping the rain out anymore when the boat is on it's mooring
My local chandlers doesn't have any ideas.

Many thanks

David

I went to a very good hardware store (ironmonger??) and bought neoprene in
tape form, about ¼ or 3/16 inch thick by about 1 ¼ inch, adhesive on one
side. It works perfectly, resistant to crushing etc.

Another option that I did. We have a hotrod building store/shop not far
from the boat. I went in there and they had all kinds of rubber sealing for
doors, trunks, etc. Comes in different sizes and thicknesses and is self
adhesive. They had a lot of other cool stuff too. Maybe I'll sell the boat
and build a hotrod!!
