Cockpit floor repair

Having started the job and determining that the plywood under the top surface does not extend to the full width of the cockpit floor, what is the width of the pocket the plywood sits in? And how far does it go aft?

Contact Eddie Bredden at Hunter. He's the "Hunter answer man". He's out of the office intil mid Jan. How do/ did you go out cutting the floor out. I have to tackle a section under the water heater.
