1979 ..27' hunter, water comes up scuppers, floods cockpit,....3people plus additional 59# from new engine...flooding occurs at + 2000 rpm. Looking for help...thank you

I would think your 79 Hunter 27 is pretty much the same as my 79 Hunter 30 as far as cockpit drains. I have 2 drains at the aft of my cockpit that tee together to one thru hull that's at least a foot above the waterline at the stern. Where is your cockpit drain thru hull at?
