I'm having a heck of a time finding replacent hoses that do not flatten at the two bends between the cockpit and the through-hull. I 've tried all of the hoses in the local hardware stores, West Marine and NAPA auto. The red heater hose from NAPA was closest but still bent and shut off the draining water eventually. I even tried a gizmo called Unicoil that fits over the hose to keep it rounded in cross section and open. It worked for one bend but it was too short to cover the two bends, and the hoses were too short to accomodate two Unicoils. I ordered two from Stuart but they are just like the meshed garden hose-type that one can buy anywhere that don't work. Anyone out have this problem? Am I missing something about the intallation? I would appreciate any ideas on what others are using. Thanks, in advance!
