Well ther was six inches of water in the cockpit from an overnight rain. I guess I'll run something down the drain and try to dislodge whatever it is. Anyone know if there is a screen or something down there, and where on the bottom does it come out? Thanks Jim

unclog

Hi Jim, I would try using the pressure from a garden hose. The outlet is below the waterline on the centerline (keel), about three feet from the transom. The second attempt to unclog would be from under the boat with the garden hose to reverse the pressure/push. Be very careful if you push something down the pipes. The original was that accordion flex pipe. It will easily be damaged. You can see the pipe and through hole by looking in the stern under the deck. Under the waterline work can create MAJOR safety issues. Contact a boat yard, if you are not sure about what you are doing. Good luck. Mark

I just got back from fixing it. It was barnacles clogging thr outlet. I'm on the intracoastal in Florida.
