Those foam pool floats look pretty comfortable. Anyone considered getting a couple of them and cutting to match their cockpit seating?

Thanks,

Brian

If you mean the sealed, closed cell floats with a vinyl finish? Sure, you could cut one up and it would probably work. Or go to C-Cushions (www.ccushions.com) and get ones that look good.

I'm not affiliated with them in any way other than being a customer. I've bought cushions for two boats from them and have been very happy both times.

There are other companies (at least one?) that sell similar products. I've only done business with C-Cushions and am very happy.

Or these...

I found these yoga mats at walmart. Closed cell but not hard like some foams. very soft and comfy and matches the blue throwables.

The CCushions look great, but they're almost $900 for a set. I could get two closed cell floats from BJs for $160. I'm not sure how they would look once they were cut to fit though.

The yoga mat was something I thought of also, do you find it to be thick enough? The ones I've seen are about 1/4 inch thick.

You might also check with your host- Sailboatowners.com. In fact, there's an ad for cockpit cushions on this page, upper right, next to the first post

Try the chandlery-I've been happy with them.
