Cockpit Courtesy Light?

Hello all,
Our 310, 2003 model is missing the light cover on the helm rail that illuminates the fold-up cockpit table. The light works but the cover is gone. Any idea where I can order one?

I would guess this is something added by your PO. I don't see a light listed on the wiring diagram.

That's an interesting idea Paul.

I have been thinking about adding a light like this one: LED Bar Light.

I would add it to the front of the drink holder so that it could light up the table for eating after dark. (see pic) I am just afraid I might bump into it too often and it would become annoying.

Check Catalina Direct. The light looks like the ones we have in our head. But I wonder if you would be better getting a light that is made to be out in the weather as I suspect that one is not.

The head light is Catalina Direct D2183 (LED version), $19.57. Not sure if they sell just the cover, but since the new light is LED it may be worth just replacing. Not sure about weatherproof, but it sounds like the first one lasted for many years so it may be twenty bucks well spent.

Those xenon bulbs dont seem to last very long. I replaced my bulb with leds I found on amazon available in red or white. Works great so far.
