I have ordered and received a set of replacement coaming cushions for my 23.5. Do you have any words to the wise about removing the original cushions and/or installing the new ones. It seems to me that I should install the new ones with velcro strips so that they don't stay out in the weather all the time. Your thoughts? John

Cover them.

When ours started looking grungy, we put them on a 1/4" plywood backing, and stapled sunbrella fabric around them. Three years in the sun all the time and they still look like new. Rich

Just Like the Ones Inside

The cushions on my '95 have yet to be installed. I have been trying to figure out the best way to do it. I like the idea of mounting them on plywood. We bought a couple of beach towels and my wife was going to cut them into slip covers with a draw string. Maybe after she does that I'll buy her some sunbrella fabric to make another set.

TRhe cushions were attached in two ways. One with screws which I did not like and the other was a 30-m product stickim velcrow. with the velcro, you had to clean the surfaces first and then really press it in place. Suggest that future cushions be made with small hanging straps that can be snapped on. Much easier. Crazy Dave
