Clever Boat Names

It is winter... and there seems to be a lot of desire for randome stuff on here.... There was a 2014 thread on Snarky Boat Names but it seemed silly to post to a nine year old thread so I'm starting a new one.

These are two puny names that I came up with. The first sums up why I like solo sailing and the second is a nerdy Thermodynamics pun

• The delta Gee

And here is one that I inherited that I really like... that has a double-entendre for a sailor...

• Knot Working

We almost named our Hunter "Gulf Cart".

I was touched when a very dear friend (and accomplished sailor) suggested "Holly" instead. He had remembered a single conversation from years earlier when I admitted my infatuation with the actress.

Ulimately we kept the name she had when we bought her.

I was always partial to "Stuck in Traffic", but I've never had a job I had to commute to work, so it wasn't right for me. Whoever uses it would never have to lie to their partner if they were sailing instead of going home.
