Has anyone else encountered blockage of the air vent tube through the port stanchion that vents the holding tank (1988 MK II). This boat was on the hard for 6+ years. I was able to remove the starboard stanchion and clear the airway for the freshw ater tanks. The port tube is above the cabinet in the head, and the fittings are not visible, nor easily reachable. I ran some piano wire down through the small vent holes in the stanchion itself, but it doesn't seem to ahve cleared the vent. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks! Terry

If you remove the cabinet doors,

you can see where the vent hose attaches to the stanchion. From inside the cabinet undo the clamp and remove the hose. Clear your clog and hook it all up again.
