Awlcraft is a two part paint that produces a very shiny, durable finish if done properly...no need for the clear coat....IMHO
that being said, there may be circumstances where clear coat is warranted or desired, but I can't think of any offhand...
Clear coating will render some of the benefits of Awlcraft (buffable, repairable, etc) much more difficult if not impossible...and there is the risk of the clear coat scaling off (see many cars now adays doing this), cracking or being damaged independent of the color coat.
