Never had to clean sails on old sailboat, but my new one (2003) I want to stay ahead of dirt buildup. Sail currently pretty clean but has a few areas I want to clean before installing. Is it best to spread out on lawn to clean and can you recommend a cleaner.

easy
Go easy with any kind of soap nothing too strong just a very mild soap and rinse with fresh water that's what I do each year.
