The Works

I just went through this maneuver. Tried everything under the sun to get the crud off my prop and shaft. Go to your local supermarket and pick up a bottle of "The Works." It is in the bathroom cleaning section. It comes in either gel form or liquid, and both will do the job. Put it on and you'll see it foam up, sorta like when you put peroxide on a cut. Let it do its thing, then use a scrubber. Wear some latex gloves while doing this. It may take a few cycles, but whatever is on there will come off. My prop and shaft are clean and looking like new. Good luck, Pete

The Work

"The Works" worked great. Thanks for the info. For $2.99 I have a clean and shiny prop and shaft. Great advice. Al
