Cleaning Fresh Water Tank

Are there any tricks for accessing and opening the fresh water tank for cleaning. On my 1993-28ft Hunter the tank is located under the "V" berth.

Check with the head mistress.

Peggy wrote a great artical on commissioning the fresh water tank. Follow her instructions as for a spring start up and your fresh water will be fine.

Water Clean out Hole

I donb't know what space you have, but on my H33 the tank is located in the same place. I purchased a screw in clear port opening and cut a hole in the tank top and installed. I can reach every corner of the tank and no matter what shape the pump is in always be able to get access to the water. for details email me at porter@LCE.com
