To: BoatLIFE: The Pacific Northwest is known for damp weather, which translates over a winter or two into dirt and a mossy green substances on canves that may hold the wet, like dodgers, sailcovers, etc. I've tried the Cleaner suggested by SunBrella, and sail cleaners, with no luck. The canvas is Navy Blue, so I hesitate to use bleach. What do you suggest? Mark Jensen

Dodger cleaner

Although this may sound strange, BoatLIFE Bilge Cleaner has been found by some to be quite successful in cleaning tops and removing mildew stains. It is safe for the fabric (I have even been known to use it in the laundering of fine fabrics to remove grease stains that no detergent could remove). Most of our products are quite versatile, like this.
