HUNTER 450 PASSAGE WHITBY
Hi Everyone

Because my 2000 450 Hunter is still new to me. I have yet to tackle cleaning the wood on the interior cabinets and wall panels. It looks like the frame work on the cabinets is solid teak but the wall panels and cabinet doors look like a plywood laminate or veneer has anyone attempted cleaning and then putting a finish on over the original wood finish, or does anyone have suggestions as to what to use as a protectant on this wood?

Keep it clean with Lemon Oil or some other such citrus oil.

Contact Hunter to see what they used. If it was Seafin, it is easy to use, but does not dry very quickly.

They used to use Dalys products in the late 80's through mid 90's, not sure if they still do now.

Call Dalys and ask for Herb, he's the guy that created the sea-fin and pro-fin products for them, and he worked with Hunter for 10+ years on the blend they used for the boats... they didn't use straight sea-fin, it was a mix of sea-fin and pro-fin. I talked to him recently and he pulled out his notes all the way back to the late 80's to tell me what blend they used, and on what part of the boat!
