comet and a sponge works.
Is the "comet" some kind of cleaner? Does it appears in the store of sailboatowners.com? If it is not there where can i get it?

Comet is just a brand name for scouring powder. Ajax, Clorox, Vim etc are others of the same. Bleach is a major component along with limestone and other abbrasives. If the tire scuffs are thick, remover with a razor blade first, then try lifting it off with Goo B Gone. After that use some autobody compound, before attacking it with "comet". Either way, when it is gone you will need to wash clean and wax it well.

Over the last 30 years I have found that Soft Scrub works great for any marks, smudges, and even takes the haze off before using a polish. It is not as abrasive as comet either.

I second that. I use it all the time on our Formica counter top. The Wife always leaves Tea stains and Soft Scrub works really great to remove them. Good mention.
