I lost the clamshell vent cover for the anchor well drain hole on my 2006 Beneteau 343 on one side of the bow, but still have it on the other. The clamshell cover is shaped like an arrowhead with a soft, rounded front point and is made of white plastic material that I am told is PVC. It is 2 inches in vertical height at the opening (the aft end) and two inches long from the rounded tip (forward end) to the raised top of the opening, and covers a circular drain hole with a 1 inch diameter. It has one screw hole, near the rounded forward end.
I have checked several companies' parts catalogs and the shelves at West Marine, and the only clamshell covers that size I find are stainless steel, which I can live with, and have three or four screw holes, which I would prefer to avoid--loath to put any new holes in the hull that I don't need.
Does anyone know where I can find those white plastic clamshell covers, preferably with only one screw hole, or who the original manufacturer of them was?
